Marilisa D'Amico

D’amico is the founder and coordinator of Human Hall. At Human Hall she also oversees the Women’s Leadership project, the Inclusion Index project and HH4AI project
Marilisa D’Amico teaches Constitutional Law, Constitutional Justice and Women’s Rights in the Constitutional State (Jean Monnet Chair “European Fundamental Rights and Women’s Rights – EFRiWoR”) in the Faculty of Law, University of Milan.
She coordinates the advanced course “Legal Tools for Preventing and Combating Gender -Based Violence” and is a member of the Scientific Committee of the course “Gender Cultures and Strategies for Promoting Equality in Business and Public Administration” and in that “Rights and Inclusion of People with Disabilities”.
She coordinates, in addition, the Inter -University Center for Gender Cultures and the Observatory on Violence Against Women at the same university. She is member of the Women and Gender in Global Affairs Network at Columbia University in New York and a member of the Board of Directors of Assoedilizia.
She has authored over three hundred and fifty scholarly publications on topics related to constitutional law, constitutional justice, human rights protection and gender equality. In 2015, she received the CILD Civil Liberties Award, for having contributed as a lawyer “to spread the culture of human r ights in our country”, and in 2022 the “Faces of the Metropolis” award given to outstanding Milanese figures
