Professor of International Law at the State University of Milan, Chiara Ragni participates in several international research projects. She is the scientific head of the Migration Studies and New Societies project. Since 2019, she has become a member of the editorial board of the journal GenIUS (Journal of Legal Studies on Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity). She has been a researcher in international law at the Department of Italian and Supranational Public Law, University of Milan. She edited the volume on ‘Fundamental Rights and the Best Interest of the Child in Transnational Families’.Since 2012 she has been a member of the Scientific and Editorial Board of the journal QIL (Questions of International Law).
