At Human Hall, he oversees the Migration and Human rights project
Researcher in Medieval and Early Modern His tory of Law at the University of Milan since 2018, Filippo Rossi teaches history of human rights . His research topics concern, among others , the his tory of human rights and migration, with particular reference to the relationship between borders , forms of government and migratory flows between the modern and contemporary ages , on which he has focused several scientific articles. He is a member of the Scientific Committee of the CO.DI.C.E. project, Consensus and Dissent in European Codifications and of the Organizing Committee of the Coordinated Research Center Migrations and Human Rights at the University of Milan. He is a member of the European Society for Comparative Legal History (ESCLH).
