Irene Pellizzone is associate professor of Constitutional Law at the University of Milan (since 2019), where she also teaches “Gender violence: interdisciplinary training courses” and is didactic coordinator of the specialization course “Legal tools for the prevention and fight against gender-based violence”. At the center of his research interests are currently placed form of government (with attention to the figure and role of the President of the Republic); freedoms and rights in the end of life, with attention to the role of the Constitutional Court and judges in the face of legislative inertia; the fight against gender violence, with attention to the role of constitutional and supranational law and the relationship between gender violence and gender discrimination.
