Full professor in Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the State University of Milan. While still at the State University of Milan, she is coordinator of the Postgraduate Course in Cosmetic Science and in Cosmetic Products: from formulation to consumer. She is arbiter of the Italian Society of Cosmetological Sciences. She was Director of the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences from 2009 to 2017 and was Director of the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences from 2009 to 2017. She was Chair of the Intradivisional Pharmaceutical Analysis Group of the Division of Pharmaceutical Chemistry. In 2003, she received the Sapio Prize for Italian Research. She graduated in Pharmacy and specialized in Hospital Pharmacy.
