Maurizio Ambrosini is a Professor of Sociology of Migration at the University of Milan, teaches at the University of Nice and has given courses at the Italian branch of Stanford University and at SciencesPo, Paris. He is scientific head of the Centro Studi Medì in Genoa, where he runs the journal Mondi Migranti and the Summer School of Sociology of Migration (18th edition in 2023). He contributes to Avvenire and Lavoce.info. He is a member of CNEL, where he leads the coordinating body for integration policies.
